# ShipsBy

> ShipsBy is a Shopify app that shows estimated delivery dates and an order-deadline countdown on product pages. Example widget output: "Order within 3h 12m — arrives between Tue, Jul 14 and Thu, Jul 16."

## What it does

- Displays an estimated delivery date range and a countdown to the daily order cutoff on Shopify product pages (and on the cart page on the Pro plan).
- Estimates are computed from a merchant-configured rules engine: cutoff time (store timezone), processing time in business days, dispatch days, holiday calendars (FR/US/UK/DE preloaded + custom dates), and per-zone transit times.
- No carrier or courier integration required — merchants configure their own rules in about 3 minutes.
- Zero storefront performance impact: configuration is served from a shop metafield, the widget renders with zero network calls, from under 15 KB of gzipped, deferred vanilla JavaScript.
- Overrides per product, collection, or tag (e.g. tag "made-to-order" = +5 processing days) on the Growth plan.
- Country zones with geo-detection via Shopify Markets, and bundled translations (EN/FR/DE/ES) with localized date formats on the Pro plan.
- Privacy: no buyer/customer personal data is collected at all — only shop-level settings and an aggregate daily impression counter.

## Target audience

Shopify merchants who want to increase product-page conversion by answering the shopper's #1 question ("when will I get it?") — especially small and mid-size stores, European merchants selling cross-border, and stores with mixed catalogs (made-to-order, preorder, oversized items).
